Here are the contingency arrangements that we’ve put in place at Denholm to run a business as usual service during the current coronavirus threat.

Key objective

We plan to provide a continuous, reliable recruitment service to attract, hire and onboard the necessary talent to support our clients. This situation will pass and we believe it’s important to avoid any interruption to our clients’ talent pipeline essential to future competitiveness when normality returns.

We will remain in contact with our candidates, with regularly scheduled calls and online video conferencing to replace our face to face interviews in the meantime.

Working practices

We have robust technology supporting our entire team as we work remotely. After operating a flexible working policy for several years all our consultants can provide a full client and candidate service away from the office. In particular, we have remote video interviewing technology which we are making available to all our clients to ensure they can progress their recruitment plans uninterrupted while continuing to put the welfare of their staff at the forefront of their minds.

Technology which our consultants can access on a 24 hour basis include;

  1. Zoom – video interviewing and conferencing
  2. Bullhorn for Mobile – remote access to our CRM system
  3. Amiqus – online reference checking
  4. McQuaig – online candidate profiling
  5. BrandBox- digital vacancy/employer brand profiles

These tools are fully operational across all remote PCs, laptops and mobiles.

If required we can operate on the basis of full office closures in both Edinburgh and Glasgow at immediate notice, enabling us to continue and complete any current assignments we may be running, and to take full briefs by phone, Zoom, and email for new assignments as they arise. We shall inform you immediately should this become necessary and in the meantime our consultants will ensure that you have all their contact details.

By taking these steps we hope to minimise health risks to our staff, clients and candidates.
