Isle of Barra Distiller, a family-owned distillery located on the Isle of Barra, Scotland, was searching for a Customer Experience Assistant to join their growing team.
This role would be pivotal in the distillery’s operations and offered significant potential for growth and advancement. Given the remote nature of the position and the distillery’s specific requirements for experience in HMRC paperwork within the spirits sector, finding a suitable candidate presented some unique challenges.

The successful candidate, a Supply Chain Coordinator from Bairds Malts, not only had the right experience but also showed a genuine passion for the Isle of Barra Distiller and island life.
