We’re delighted to be partnering with one of our utilities clients on a newly created Commercial Sales Lead role for the business. This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and make their mark.
We’re not just looking for a Manager here. Whilst you’ll be overseeing a team of 8, you’ll also be hands-on and keen to share your knowledge, acting as a mentor and helping develop the team to build on performance.
This is a full-time permanent role based from their lovely Edinburgh office.
We’re looking for:
- An experienced Telesales professional with an understanding of outbound sales and retention
- A minimum of 1 year Team Lead/Manager experience – or you may be taking on more training across your current team and ready for the step up
- Proven experience in achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship builder both across the team and to your customers
- A solid working knowledge of using Excel and CRM
- Comfortable working within a KPI environment
- Utilities experience is a bonus, however it’s much more on the individual here
You will be:
- Leading a high performing telesales team
- Mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team to build upon development of the team – we’re definitely looking for someone to teach by doing here as you’ll be fully involved in the day-to-day
- Proactively contacting prospective customers and showing them the incentive for switching
- Engaging with existing customer base re wider opportunities for the business
- Managing KPIs – call volumes, call outcomes, conversions etc
- Develop an excellent understanding of the market
