Denholm has partnered with a UK market-leading FMCG brand to hire a Grocery Controller to oversee strategy of their largest retail national account customer.
Working from home/hybrid/flexible-working and reporting into the Sales Director, the Grocery Controller will deliver the strategic growth plan of the Business Unit across all Brand, Own Label, NPD – and manage a team of 4 direct National Account Managers.
A critical leadership role in the business, the CC will develop, lead and support a high-performing account management team to effectively execute the annual business plan. He/She will control channel revenue, volume, tactical & strategic channel investment and implement agreed pricing structures.
To be considered, you will have demonstrated evidence of managing large UK Grocery national accounts at senior head office level. A proven track record of recruiting, coaching, and developing highly effective teams and experience of negotiating and delivering multiple and complex Joint Business Plans, including cost price increases are essential.
